Clotilde Imbert is an urban planner specialised in bicycle urbanism. She is a partner at Copenhagenize Design Co, a Danish bicycle urbanism consultancy, and the director of the Copenhagenize France office based in Paris. From her experience in Denmark, Clotilde developed an expertise in best practice infrastructures for cyclists, bicycle user behaviour analysis and communications.
She shares her knowledge advising cities and private clients in many countries. Clotilde also organises trainings and study trips to Copenhagen and Paris to inspire urban planners and city representatives and give them the tools to make their cities more bicycle-friendly.
Her recent projects include a wayfinding strategy for the cycle superhighway network of the Eurometropole of Strasbourg (France), the application of the Desire Lines of Cyclists Tool in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and in Lisbon (Portugal), and coaching Bordeaux Metropole (France) to help the local authorities implement an ambitious cycling policy.
