About this talk

How do we design streets in which people of all ages and abilities can move about safely and enjoyably? Not only are our cities becoming more diverse, but so too are the uses on our streets. In the last decade alone, we’ve seen the rise of bike commuters, bike share, e-scooters and e-bikes as well as a greater population “aging in place.” In this session we’ll explore design techniques that increase accessibility and safety for all residents today and prepare cities for the changes to come.
